Confidentiality & Intellectual Property
(Non-contractual policy, supplementing contractual obligations in your employment contract.)
Confidentiality
During your employment, you will have access to confidential information about the company, our clients, and our projects. This may include:
- Client identities, project details, and commercial terms.
- Unpublished reports, data, and technical analysis.
- Financial information, pricing, and business plans.
- Employee personal data.
You must not disclose confidential information to anyone outside the company unless it is necessary for the proper performance of your duties, or you have explicit authorisation from Mike Wood.
This obligation continues after your employment ends. Your contract of employment contains specific confidentiality provisions that are binding.
Intellectual Property
Any intellectual property (reports, documents, software, methodologies, inventions) created by you in the course of your employment belongs to ACT Acoustics Ltd.
You must not use the company’s intellectual property for personal gain or disclose it to third parties without authorisation.
